Shopapalooza Giveaway Official Rules

During the Shopapalooza weekend, shoppers take a “passport” to participating shops and get a stamp to represent that shop. Each stamp collected during the two-day event counts as one entry into the Shopapalooza Giveaway. More shops visited = more entries into the giveaway!

2025 Shopapalooza Passports are available to pick up at any participating shop on Friday, November 7th, or Saturday, November 8th. Passports are not available before the event begins.

Return your passport with your name and email address to any participating shop on or before November 10th. Passports must have at least one stamp to be entered into the giveaway.

No purchase necessary to enter or win. Limit of one passport per person.

Winners will be notified via email on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. 

HOW TO ENTER THE GIVEAWAY

1. Stamp your passport at each participating shop you visit during the event. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Each shop visited = one entry into the giveaway.
2. Return your passport with your name and email address to any participating shop on or before November 10, 2025 by 5pm.

PRIZES
> Grand Prize to 1 Winner: $50 gift card from each participating shop
> 2nd Prize to 1 Winner: $25 gift card from each participating shop
> 3rd Prize to 33 Winners: One $25 gift card from one participating shop drawn at random

GIVEAWAY DETAILS

Event Dates: The Shopapalooza Giveaway begins at 10 am on November 7, 2025, and ends at 6 pm on November 8, 2025. Entries must be received by any participating shop by 5 pm on November 10, 2025. 

How to Enter: During the Shopapalooza event, entrants visit any participating shop and receive a stamp on a Shopapalooza passport. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Each shop visited and corresponding stamp on the passport counts as one entry into the giveaway. Passports are available at each participating shop during the event. The maximum entries per passport is 33. One passport per person. Multiple entries, if discovered, will be disqualified. Passports must be submitted to any participating shop by 5 pm on November 10, 2025.

Eligibility: Entrants must be 18 years or older, be a legal U.S. resident, and provide a name and email address on their submitted passport. 

Random Drawing: On or about November 10, 2025, potential giveaway winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries. Winners will be drawn at random from all qualifying entries. Limit of one prize per winner. Winners will be notified via email. 

Prizes: 35 prizes will be awarded. Prizes will consist of one or more gift cards from shops participating in the Shopapalooza event. Winners are responsible for any applicable fees or taxes. Prizes are not redeemable for cash. Gift cards and certificates must be used in compliance with the venue’s policies.

Use of Data: Entrants may agree to the usage of their email address by all businesses participating in the Shopapalooza event. To give consent, entrants may check the box of the opt-in statement on the passport.

Entry methods for the giveaway will be specified by The Happy Envelope, and entries must be received during the giveaway period to be eligible. The Happy Envelope shall not be responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, inappropriate, or misdirected entries, all of which will be disqualified.

Giveaway winners will be determined according to the method specified by The Happy Envelope at their sole and exclusive discretion.  The winning entrants will be contacted using the email address provided with the entry and may be awarded the prize (subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with the terms of these rules or the specific giveaway rules).  The Happy Envelope’s decisions as to the administration and operation of the giveaway and the selection of potential winners is final and binding in all matters related to the giveaway. Failure to respond to the initial verification contact within four (4) days of notification will result in disqualification.

Winners are responsible for all taxes associated with prize receipt and/or use.  Odds of winning a prize depend on a number of factors, including but not limited to the number of eligible entries received by The Happy Envelope.  The Happy Envelope reserves the right to substitute any listed prize for one of equal or greater value for any reason.

The Happy Envelope reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the giveaway, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond The Happy Envelope’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the giveaway, as determined by The Happy Envelope in its sole discretion. The Happy Envelope reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the entry process or the operation of the giveaway or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.

By entering the giveaway, each participant agrees to release and hold harmless The Happy Envelope, related and affiliated companies, participating sponsors, the prize suppliers, and any other organizations responsible for sponsoring, fulfilling, administering, advertising or promoting the giveaway, and each of their respective past and present officers, directors, employees, agents, and representatives (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all claims, expenses, and liability.

The Released Parties are not responsible for: (1) any incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by entrants, printing errors, or by any of the equipment associated with or utilized in the giveaway; (2) technical failures of any kind; (3) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the giveaway; (4) technical or human error which may occur in the administration of the giveaway or the processing of entries; or (5) any injury or damage to persons or property which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the giveaway, or receipt or use, non-use or misuse of any prize.

All entry forms gathered during the course of entry, as well as all information contained on or within, shall become the sole property of The Happy Envelope to be used, disposed of, or destroyed in its sole discretion. The Happy Envelope is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information entered by entrants, and assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, deletion, defect, theft, or destruction or unauthorized access to the Shopapalooza website.
